Design & concept
The shell pant has been designed by Stefanie Ahlström. She has experience from some of the largest Swedish and European clothing companies in the outdoor industry. Skiddis shell pants grew out of a long process where we together analyzed everything from different shapes, type of construction, fabrics, accessories etc.
Our goal: to offer a fully waterproof shell pant of the absolute highest quality, using only recycled materials, made in Europe.
Concept
The fabrics and accessories come from Europe and the pants are also made in Europe.
- Patterns created in Stockholm.
- The fabrics come from well-known Sympatex in Germany.
- Accessories come from Europe (Finland, Portugal, Estonia, Sweden...)
- The shell pants are finally produced in Estonia
Development and testing of the shell pant
For more than a year, we've tested prototype after prototype in search of the perfect pants. Nothing was left to chance and our most demanding test subjects were children who love to play outside, whatever the weather. In addition to all the adventures in the forest and playground, the shell pants have also been tested in Sympatex laboratories in Germany where every detail has been scrutinized to ensure quality, waterproofness and durability.
